Effective treatment paths leveraging neoadjuvant chemotherapy have been well-established for patients with muscle-invasive bladder cancer, with mounting retrospective and prospective data continuing to demonstrate overall survival benefit compared with adjuvant chemotherapy, according to Jean Hoffman-Censits, MD (Johns Hopkins University).
