Group Meetings

Group-wide meetings of the ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group (ECOG-ACRIN) occur twice a year and are open to researchers and staff affiliated with member institutions, patient advocates who are members of ECOG-ACRIN's various scientific committees, industry representatives, and invited individuals from external (non-member) organizations. Group meetings are closed to the public.

Purpose

Present the latest in basic, clinical, and translational research by Group leaders in the areas of cancer prevention, imaging, diagnosis, and treatment
Provide a forum for academic inquiry among physicians, clinical research professionals, patient advocates, and others
Host education sessions on engaging patients and the public in the clinical research process
Reinforce compliance with Group policies and procedures
Offer non-CME training and education workshops for research professionals

Upcoming Group Meeting

Register now for the Spring 2026 Group Meeting, taking place in Baltimore, MD Tuesday, May 5-Thursday, May 7. Note the schedule shift away from Wednesday-Friday. All sessions will be conducted in-person only.

During registration, you must select the sessions you plan to attend. The schedule is updated on an ongoing basis and ECOG-ACRIN recommends all attendees check regularly for the most current schedule. ECOG-ACRIN will not be responsible for ticket change fees due to scheduling changes.

Travel Funding Opportunities

ECOG-ACRIN offers a limited number of travel awards and scholarships to support research professionals in attending the meeting in person. Listed below by deadline are the opportunities available for Spring 2026.

Radiation Oncologist Travel Awards
The Radiation Oncology Committee encourages radiation oncologists to attend the meeting in person and actively participate in the development of radiation oncology-driven clinical trials and secondary analyses from completed studies. Application deadline: Friday, March 20, 2026, at 11:59 pm (Eastern Time). Learn more and apply.

Advanced Practice Provider Travel Awards
The Advanced Practice Provider Committee is accepting applications from advanced practice providers (APPs) to attend the meeting in person. APPs (e.g., nurse practitioners, and physician assistants) with no other form of travel support are eligible. Application deadline: Friday, March 20, 2026, at 11:59 PM (Eastern Time). Clinical Research Associate Travel Awards
The Clinical Research Associates Committee is accepting applications for four travel awards. Data managers, clinical research associates, or clinical research coordinators/nurses with no other form of travel support are eligible. Application deadline: Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 11:59 PM (Eastern Time). Learn more and apply.

Edith Peterson Mitchell, MD Health Equity Travel Scholarships
Named after the late Edith P. Mitchell, MD, MACP, FCCP, FRCP (London), these travel scholarships are open to trainees, including students, residents, fellows, and early-career investigators, who self-identify with populations historically excluded from medicine and science. Early-career researchers who have a primary focus on health equity may also apply. Application deadline: Monday, March 30 at 11:59 PM (Eastern Time). Learn more and apply.
