Minority Travel Scholarships

Call for applications to attend the Spring 2023 Group Meeting, May 3-5, 2023: Download Here

The ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group (ECOG-ACRIN) offers travel scholarships to encourage minority investigator trainees and minority research-focused trainees to attend the group meetings, which occur twice a year in the spring and fall. The meeting features a Health Equity Committee Plenary Session and numerous scientific committee meetings that highlight active and planned research studies in the areas of cancer control and outcomes, therapeutic studies, and biomarker sciences.

Awardees do not receive research grant funding; however, ECOG-ACRIN covers expenses associated with attendance at the meeting, including travel, lodging, and meals. Following the meeting, the Health Equity Committee chairs encourage trainees to continue their contact with ECOG-ACRIN through participation in the Committee.

This program is open to underrepresented minority and minority research-focused trainees, including students, residents, fellows, and early career investigators.
