ECOG-ACRIN Biostatistics Center

The Biostatistics Center for the ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group (ECOG-ACRIN) provides methodological expertise and leadership that is critical to the group. Among its responsibilities, the center oversees the data management and analysis of all ECOG-ACRIN studies. It operates from two locations: a team at Harvard University focuses on therapeutic studies, while personnel at Brown University focus on medical imaging research.

Faculty and staff provide innovative solutions and integrate statistical science and effective data management into the clinical trials conducted by the group. They possess deep experience and strengths in cancer diagnosis and therapy, as well as cancer control and outcomes, including surveillance research. They interact closely with executive leadership and researchers across ECOG-ACRIN. In addition, they participate in many other National Cancer Institute (NCI)-funded programs, including, but not limited to, other groups in the National Clinical Trials Network (NCTN) and the research bases in the NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP).
