Data Science Committee
The Data Science Committee is a newly formed group in the ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group (ECOG-ACRIN). This committee is part of the Biomarker Sciences Program, which supports the research activities of the Therapeutic Studies Program and Cancer Control and Outcomes Program.
The new Data Science Committee is joining four other scientific groups, by specialty: the Developmental Therapeutics Committee, Imaging Diagnostics and Biomarker Committee, Laboratory Science and Pathology Committee, and Germline Genomics Committee. Together, researchers in the Biomarker Science Program:
- Evaluate and integrate cross-cutting biologic science opportunities
- Attract basic and translational science from member and external organizations
- Foster translational and correlative science across the Group
