ECOG-ACRIN Central Biorepository and Pathology Facility

The ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group (ECOG-ACRIN) has a Central Biorepository and Pathology Facility (EA-CBPF) as part of its laboratory network. This facility, located at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, provides and coordinates services to collect, process, store, catalog, ensure quality control, and distribute biospecimens with annotated clinical and molecular data. These biospecimens are obtained from patients enrolled in clinical trials across ECOG-ACRIN’s three scientific programs: Therapeutic Studies, Biomarker Sciences, and Cancer Control and Outcomes.
