Group Meetings
Group-wide meetings of the ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group (ECOG-ACRIN) occur twice a year and are open to researchers and staff affiliated with member institutions, patient advocates who are members of ECOG-ACRIN's various scientific committees, industry representatives, and invited individuals from external (non-member) organizations. Group meetings are closed to the public.
Purpose
- Present the latest in basic, clinical, and translational research by Group leaders in the areas of cancer prevention, imaging, diagnosis, and treatment
- Provide a forum for academic inquiry among physicians, clinical research professionals, patient advocates, and others
- Host education sessions on engaging patients and the public in the clinical research process
- Reinforce compliance with Group policies and procedures
- Offer non-CME training and education workshops for research professionals
Upcoming Group Meeting
The ECOG-ACRIN Spring 2027 Group Meeting will take place in Baltimore, MD, Tuesday, May 4-Thursday, May 6. Note the schedule shift away from Wednesday-Friday.
Travel Funding Opportunities
ECOG-ACRIN offers a limited number of travel awards to support research professionals to attend the meeting in person. For Spring 2026, travel grants were awarded to radiation oncologists, advanced practice providers, and clinical research associates. Additionally, Edith Peterson Mitchell, MD Health Equity Travel Scholarships were given to trainees (students, residents, fellows, and early-career investigators) who self-identify with populations historically excluded from medicine and science. All of these applications have closed. However, interested individuals may review the travel grants to determine eligibility for a future meeting.
Resources from Previous Meetings
Fall 2026 Resources: Recordings and agendas for most sessions are available for ECOG-ACRIN members on the Attendee Hub Website for 90 days following the meeting. Meeting attendees may simply log in with their name and email address used for registration.
Other Meeting Resources: We offer select session recordings, training videos, and slides from recent group meetings to download and view on demand. These resources are accessible to anyone with member log-in credentials, regardless of meeting attendance. To access the materials, click here.
