Dr. Gatsonis is the group statistician for the ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group (ECOG-ACRIN), overseeing medical imaging research. He is the Henry Ledyard Goddard University Professor of Statistical Sciences and the director of the Center for Biostatistics and Health Data Science at Brown University. He leads the ECOG-ACRIN Biostatistics Center, located at the Brown University School of Public Health. Dr. Gatsonis is a world leader in methods for applying and synthesizing evidence on diagnostic tests in medicine and is currently developing methods for Comparative Effectiveness Research in diagnosis and prediction and radiomics..
