ECOG-ACRIN NCORP Research Base
The National Cancer Institute (NCI) Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) is a national network that brings cancer clinical trials to people in their communities. The NCORP network designs and conducts trials in the following areas: cancer prevention, screening, supportive care and symptom management, surveillance, health-related quality of life, and cancer care delivery.
The ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group (ECOG-ACRIN) has been awarded a grant by the NCI as a Research Base within NCORP. As a Research Base, ECOG-ACRIN one of several hubs that design and spearhead the conduct of multi-center clinical trials and cancer care delivery research studies. These hubs also provide overall administration, data management, scientific and statistical leadership, operational processes and personnel, and regulatory compliance.
